DODS is a Parliamentary communications and political PLC founded in 1832. The business is going through many changes and needed a new working environment. Our client signed a lease in London’s most iconic building – the 84 floor tall Shard.

DODS needed a comprehensive design approach that challenged how they worked and how they wanted to work. It was a truly transformational opportunity for DODS which was fully embraced.

Faced with a seemingly impossible deadline and unique design challenges, Woodalls utilised our SEN5E process to its full.

With the new space so well designed, the Dods team immediately fitted in to the transformed way of working.

The Shard offered so many opportunities for great design, and Docs’ openness to challenges made this project truly dynamic. The Winter Garden is such a purposeful signature area and the Grand Hall works very effectively as a meeting and functional area. The circulation space is well thought through, and flexible warm-desking ensures a new way of working.

Upon completion, the Chairman declared the entire process: ‘Extreme value for money’.
