A world-renowned financial service provider, Sanlam wanted for its new UK headquarters a beautiful and functional workspace to increase productivity, as well as to attract and maintain a dedicated workforce.
With a completely blank canvas to transform, we were asked to create a distinguished yet comfortable working environment, with a distinct aesthetic to reflect Sanlam’s powerful corporate identity. Holding the world’s oldest and largest collection of South African art, the company was keen to highlight its strong affiliation to the fine art sector and hand-picked a number of exquisite pieces to be curated as the main focal point throughout the space.
Led by Woodalls, this demanding, high-specification office space planning project was undertaken in close collaboration with Sanlam’s art director, and involved a full programme of conceptual design and development, with a range of turnkey solutions implemented by our experienced in-house team.
Working to a tight schedule with rigid budget constraints and a number of technical issues to consider, our value engineering capabilities were crucial to the success of this project. With careful planning and expert installation carried out by our dedicated team, we were able to deliver an exciting and cost-effective design solution in keeping with the practical and aesthetic specifications of the brief.
We are a friendly bunch at Woodalls and we would love to hear from you. Get in touch or sign up for regular updates. If you are passing the office – pop in and say hello.
